Summer Programs 2010 Our summer programs give students an opportunity to work in a concentrated manner, away from the distractions of the school year. Marked improvements may be seen as students are immersed in pointe, variations, choreography, character and music theory classes according to their level, which supplement their classes in technique. Summer Youth Intensive July 5th - 29th, 2010: Don Quijote Western Ballet's Summer Program is distinguished by its high-caliber performing experience. The end-of-session performance of Don Quijote will challenge the dancers in both their technique and artistry. Levels 5 & 6 Special Guest Teachers: TBA 10 am - 6:30 pm Monday - Thursday, Friday 10 am - 2 pm Cost: $1499 for the session; summer registration fee $50 Registration fee waived if non-refundable deposit of $150 received by April 30, 2010. Classes include ballet technique, pointe, stretch and strengthen, jazz, Pilates, modern, variations, & drama. Levels 3 & 4 1 pm to 5 pm Monday - Thursday, Friday 1 pm - 3:30 pm Cost $750 for the session; summer registration fee $50 Registration fee waived if non-refundable deposit of $150 received by April 30, 2010. Classes include ballet technique, stretch and strengthen, drama, jazz, and performance workshop. Housing may be arranged with a local host family.
