Summer Programs 2010 Western Ballet's SUMMER INTENSIVE PROGRAM (July 5-29, 2010) offers to students pursuing professional careers in dance incomparable opportunities to study and perform renowned roles in classical ballet. Under the guidance of accomplished instructors, students will obtain high quality training in ballet, pointe, character, jazz and modern dance, while learning essential choreography from the classical ballet "Don Quixote." The program culminates in an end-of-session performance with students dancing in featured roles of the ballet as well as in numerous contemporary works. Western Ballet offers our SUMMER CHILDREN'S PROGRAM (June 27 - August 8, 2010) to children ages 3 to 10. Classes are age-appropriate and include specific curricula from the academic year. Children's Classes correspond to Introduction to Ballet to Ballet B. Summer Classes correspond to Levels 1 and 2. Western Ballet's summer programs provide students with an opportunity to work in a concentrated manner during the break from the academic year. Summer Youth Intensive July 5th - 29th, 2010: Don Quijote The Summer Intensive Program is distinguished by its excellent faculty, master classes by former principals of major companies, and a high-caliber performing experience. An end-of-session performance of "Don Quixote" will elevate the technique and artistry of our students.
