AUDITION: The Nina Novak Ballet Scholarships Next Audition: Saturday, January 8, 2011 Póster en español Each year, Western Ballet offers a limited number of scholarships to students who would otherwise be unable to take advantage of its programs. The Nina Novak Scholarship is a need-based scholarship, in which potential talent for ballet and family commitment contribute to the determination of awards. The scholarships are awarded for and cover all three semesters of study in full (fall, winter, and spring), for girls ages 6-10 years, and boys ages 6-12 years. Western Ballet does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its scholarship program, or any other school-administered program. To apply for this scholarship, parents must fill out an application, and bring their child to the scheduled audition or complete an evaluation by the Artistic Director to asses their abilities. In addition, recipients of the scholarship and their families must meet the requirements of the program as outlined below. The next audition will occur on Saturday, January 8, 2011.
