WESTERN BALLET’S MISSION STATEMENT

Western Ballet is 501(c)(3)  non-profit organization that makes the art of classical ballet performances and education accessible and affordable to the general public, including low income families and underrepresented organizations.

GENERAL FUNDS

For Maintaining Western Ballet a clean, warm, and well lighted place to dance

  • For getting the help needed to run the institution
  • For replacing the Marley in studio 2

SCHOLARSHIPS FUNDS

  • Funds for Young Children from Underprivileged Families
  • Two auditions every year since August 2010 and ultimately up to 50 scholarships

WESTERN BALLET SCHOOL OUTREACH FUNDS

  • For bringing renowned guest artist to dance in Western Ballet performances
  • For bringing renowned master class teacher to our institution
  • For maintaining healthy the Graded Youth Program with 13 Levels – For maintaining the fullest Calendar of Adult Classes in the Peninsula and South Bay
  • For maintaining an outstanding training program under the guidance of Artistic Director Alexi Zubiria
  • For producing the Sequoia retirement home performance
  • For producing the Bay Area National Dance Week free show hosted at Western Ballet
  • For producing affordable professional caliber Nutcracker performances
